Pea Salad recipe with NEA Mayonnaise

Try this easy pea salad recipe with NEA mayonnaise as a main or side dish.
1 kilo Green Peas
1 ⅓ Cups of NEA Mayonnaise
2 Teaspoons Granulated Sugar
½ Teaspoon Salt
½ Teaspoon Pepper
1 Small Red Onion, Chopped
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
6 slices of bacon
method of preparation:
Clean the peas with fresh water. Put them in a casserole and boil them with some salt for 15 minutes. Place the peas in a colander and fry the bacon in order to get crispy. Let it cool.
Then mix up the salad dressing. In a large bowl mix together NEA mayonnaise, sugar, salt, and pepper with the red onion, cheese, and bacon bits.
Add the peas to the salad and stir well, but gently to combine.
Chill the salad, covered, for at least one hour before serving.
